School Games Values
There are 6 values which school sport is built around at Warren Farm:
1. Passion
2. Belief
3. Respect
4. Honesty
5. Determination
6. Teamwork
The values aim to develop a range of behaviours, qualities and inter-personal skills based on sporting experiences, scenarios and attitudes.
Year 3/4 Friendly Football Match
On Wednesday 29th June 2022, 10 boys from Year 3 and 4 represented Warren Farm School at a friendly football match away against Glenmead School. All the boys showed great resilience, determination and teamwork!
Perry the Bull visits Warren Farm!
Today, Tuesday 24th May 2022, we had a very special visitor! The official Commonwealth Games mascot, Perry the Bull visited Warren Farm Primary School.
We had a whole school assembly to welcome Perry where we learnt all about the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and the sports.
This event focused on the School Games values of passion and teamwork.
KT and CO Active Maths
KT and CO were lucky enough to welcome Sarah from KSSP on Friday 13th May 2022. They participated in an Active Maths session which combined both PE and Maths! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt a lot!

Balance Bike Club
A balance bike club has been set up to develop balance skills in EYFS. These help develop their coordination and motor skills and give them independence and the freedom to explore. In addition to being fun, a balance bike helps with gross-motor skill development, builds confidence, and provides an easy transition to a pedal bike.
It has been lovely to see so many happy faces as the children enjoy their balance bike club.
This club focusses on the School Games values of belief, passion and respect.
EYFS New Outdoor Climbing Frame
Reception and Nursery have been lucky enough to have a brand new climbing frame installed in their playground to use during break and lunch time.
This highlights the School Games values of passion, respect and teamwork.
SK and CW Mindfulness and Yoga Workshop
On Friday 6th May 2022, we were lucky enough to have Kayley come in and deliver a mindfulness and yoga workshop. We focused on connecting the 3 B's - body, brain and breathing.
This event focussed on the School Games values of passion and belief.
KS2 Girls Commonwealth Event
Monday 28th March 2022
10 amazing girls from KS2 went to the Doug Ellis Sports Centre for a Commonwealth event. This was a taster of a carousel of sports that will seen at the Commonwealth Games in the Summer holidays.
The children were extremely well behaved, had lots of fun and represented Warren Farm amazingly!
This event focussed on our School Games values of determination and teamwork.
Year 1 and Year 2 Athletics Competition- Monday 7th March 2022
Miss Kelly and Mrs Blakemore took 10 amazing students from Year 1 and Year 2 to Fortis Academy to participate in an athletics competition.
We, proudly, finished 3rd place and represented Warren Farm outstandingly!
We participated in running, jumping and throwing events. Everyone had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
