We have been looking at how to remain calm in tense situations. This will help your child during Sats. We also looked at 'Rights and responsibilities'.
Looking at the role of the bystander during an act of bullying.
Looked at 'Human Trafficking' to see if it is still an issue in today's society.
We are looking forward to 'International Day'. Year 6 are going to find out about 'China'.
In the first week we looked at our rules and responsibilities year 6 will undertake throughout the year and created a mindmap about Warren Farm School.
At Warren Farm School we teach 'British Values'. These include Democracy, Rule of Law, Individual Liberty, Mutual respect and Tolerance.
Democracy: at the start of the year the children could write a presentation on why they want to be on School Council. They then presented to the class and the class then had a vote to choose who it would be. Our representatives from Class CP are: Reegan and Morntello. Well Done.
MUTUAL RESPECT - Understanding apartheid and considering how the rules and regulations were unequal and unfair.
